Getting everyone in the raid an Icebound Frostbrood Vanquisher is pretty sweet.
Finding a place in Icecrown to take a screenshot without phasing is downright glorious.
But getting Unug achievements is priceless™
While we have no plans to go inactive it is rather nice to have accomplished our raiding goals for this expansion.

We may not do things all that well, but hey we sure are orderly!
Right on cue we killed heroic Sindragosa, just as 30% rolled around, completing Glory of the Icecrown Raider. Just a little while ago it was the professor. And even though we were kind of fail as we did them, it still wasn't that hard, and it didn't take much time. A while back we decided to lazily do 1 night a week of 8 heroic bosses and change, and then clean up with the escalating raid buff. It worked.
In that way it's difficult to say if the buff is a good thing or not. On the one hand having it for easier repeating of kills was great, but then again, it sure made us lazy :)
And as those bosses deserve, we do have phat loot ^^

I tried to get a screenshot of drakes but alas some people haven't quested outside Icecrown, so we will try again after a few more people get theirs, and somewhere with a bit less phasing.
In more exciting news, Naptime came up with a breakthrough pizza this week, only to have it stolen by Droof. The ensuing legal battle will only serve to escalate their sexual tension.
Lastly since alts are just the thing to get people through the summer blahs, never forget how awesome random pugs are. Because this really is the baseline.
It's the new go to excuse instead of lag these days. It really is.

Hello and welcome back to the exciting world of news actually related to raids. Tonight Ruby Sanctum didn't come out, except it did, except for the servers where it didn't for a while, but eventually did unless they were offline all day. Bravo, Blizzard, that's some good content withholding! Except for it's not. After a few learning moments we did kill Halion the Twilight Destroyer. But I forgot to take a screenshot so the rules say mspaint.
Normally there'd be a loot roundup but, oh the excitement of lower level items than our usual work... Yay...
It was quite a night though. The following achievements kind of sum it up.
I did not even know you could get both those Lich King achieves at once, but, here we are <_<
Anub is really our thing, I suppose. We went from trying to drop ice to prevent him from burrowing long, long ago to finally killing him on heroic with no wipes, though we tried every fail known to man on faction champs. It almost seems douchey to spam the server for content this old, but hey, at least we can blame Mahdi for suggesting the run tonight.
And did the Lich King drop anything new tonight?
I think he gets a toaster for everytime he f***s us on loot.
In less raidy news we held guild outing four in scenic Droof's house this past weekend. As a guild, we're getting pretty old. Four years running... Next year we'll mostly meet in hoverrounds. Our frail and decrepid shells are so offensive to recording technology that not a single photo was taken.
Another year of mean drunk Pegus and swears he's not drunk Sorcy.
Another year of good attention hungry Toby and bad attention hungry Baba.
Another year of eating out where the refills are free.
Also Sang renewed his brain link with Unug.
We're getting too old for this s***, Neglect.
